DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a drinking vessel made of glass (drinking glass) into which drinks are filled and from which people drink directly. The drinking glass has the property of cooling drinks without diluting them by utilizing the latent heat of a phase change material (PCM). Furthermore, the glass has the property of changing the phase of the PCM from liquid to solid and solid to liquid to change the transparency resulting in a change in the appearance.

Embodiment of the Invention The drinking glass is a double-walled glass made of borosilicate glass, thus has an outer wall (2) and an inner wall (6), wherein between the inner wall outer surface and outer wall inner surface is a cavity (3, 4) and a connecting region (5) the outer wall connects to the inner wall. The cavity (3, 4) is filled with a PCM (3). The invention combines both the advantage that drinks can be cooled without diluting and changes the transparency of the product by melting and crystallizing the PCM (3).
